Camp Description:
Get ready to say his name three times—Beetlejuice! Step into the weird and wonderful world of this delightfully spooky and hilarious musical inspired by the hit Broadway show and Tim Burton’s classic film. This camp is perfect for young performers who love humor, the supernatural, and a little bit of the unexpected! Over the course of the week, campers will explore scenes, songs, and choreography from Beetlejuice Jr., learning acting, singing, and dancing techniques while building confidence and teamwork.

Beetlejuice Jr. Synopsis:
When Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager, discovers her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple and a mischievous demon named Beetlejuice, she finds herself in the adventure of a lifetime. Determined to scare away her father and his obnoxious fiancée, Lydia teams up with Beetlejuice for a series of wild and spooky antics. But when Beetlejuice’s plans take a dangerous turn, Lydia must confront what it really means to be part of a family. Filled with zany humor and catchy tunes, Beetlejuice Jr. is a hilarious, heartwarming story about embracing life, even when it gets a little weird.

Journey down the rabbit hole in this whimsical and enchanting musical theatre camp based on Alice in Wonderland Jr.! Join Alice as she meets a host of colorful characters like the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, and the Queen of Hearts in a madcap adventure through Wonderland. This camp is designed for rising 5th and 6th graders who love performing and want to develop their acting, singing, and dancing skills. Campers will rehearse scenes, songs, and choreography from the show, culminating in a fully staged performance for family and friends.

Alice in Wonderland Jr. Synopsis:
Follow Alice as she tumbles into the curious world of Wonderland, where nothing is as it seems! From a frantic White Rabbit to a mischievous Cheshire Cat and an over-the-top Queen of Hearts, Alice encounters a host of whimsical characters as she tries to find her way back home. Alice in Wonderland Jr. is a delightful adaptation filled with memorable songs and quirky moments that teach the importance of curiosity, courage, and being true to yourself.

Get ready, because Ignite Theatre Company’s senior summer production is going to be totally fab! While we can’t spill the tea just yet, here’s a hint: It’s all about a fierce, fashionable young woman who’s ready to show the world that you can be smart and stylish—while kicking butt along the way!
Auditions are set for May 1, with rehearsals starting in late May on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Performances will be held at the gorgeous Grandel Theatre from August 8-10. And guess what? Choreography auditions will happen in late May too!
We can’t wait to share more about this seriously fun show that’s full of pink, sparkle, and major heart. Stay tuned for the big reveal—you won’t want to miss it!

Ignite Theatre Company is excited to partner with Lindbergh Schools as part of their Summer Enrichment Program! We’re offering three engaging 1/2-day camps perfect for young performers to dip their toes into theatre or explore new and exciting shows.
- Girl Power Session 1 will focus on strong female leads, celebrating the power of women in musical theatre.
- Into Wonderland takes campers down the rabbit hole with Alice in a whimsical adventure full of quirky characters.
- Spooky Stories is for performers who love a touch of the macabre, combining the fun of musical theatre with a little Halloween spirit.
Registration for these camps goes directly through Lindbergh Schools, and everyone is welcome to attend—you do not need to be a Lindbergh student to participate! These camps are a great opportunity for kids to explore the world of theatre in a fun and welcoming environment.
