ENCORE EXPLORATION: SPOOKY STORIES

Calling all performers with a flair for the spooky and the spectacular! Dive into the thrilling world of spooky musical theatre with our exciting after-school program, “Spooky Stage Stars.” This class is designed for 2nd through 8th graders who are eager to explore the eerie and enchanting realms of beloved musicals such as Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Sweeney Todd, and Little Shop of Horrors.

What to Expect:

• Explore Iconic Musicals: Discover the fun and fright of classic spooky musicals. From the quirky Addams Family to the haunting melodies of Sweeney Todd, students will engage with the unique characters, songs, and scenes that make these shows memorable.

• Acting, Singing, and Dancing: Students will learn the basics of musical theatre performance, including acting techniques, vocal training, and dance routines. They will have the opportunity to express themselves and build confidence through dynamic and creative exercises.

• Collaborative Creativity: Working together, students will develop their own small-scale performance that incorporates elements from the musicals they’ve studied. This project-based approach encourages teamwork and fosters a sense of accomplishment.

• Final Performance: The program will culminate in a special showcase for friends and family. This final performance will highlight the students’ hard work and talent, bringing the spooky musical magic to life on stage.

• Ignite Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: As an added bonus, students will have the exciting opportunity to be featured in the Ignite Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on November 16, showcasing their skills and celebrating their achievements with the community.
