Encore Exploration: Girl Power
Grade Levels: 2nd – 8th Grade
Schedule: Once a Week, After School
Program Duration: 2/12-4/9
Calling all young performers ready to unleash their inner strength! Join us for our exciting after-school program, “Girl Power,” where 2nd through 8th graders can dive into the empowering and exhilarating realms of musicals featuring strong female leads, such as Legally Blonde, & Juliet, Mamma Mia!, and Six.
What to Expect:

Explore Iconic Musicals: Discover the fun and empowerment in these fantastic musicals. Students will engage with memorable characters, songs, and scenes that celebrate the strength and resilience of women.

Acting, Singing, and Dancing: Learn the essentials of musical theatre performance, including acting techniques, vocal training, and dance routines. Students will express themselves and build confidence through dynamic, creative exercises.

Collaborative Creativity: Work together to develop a small-scale performance that incorporates elements from the musicals studied. This project-based approach encourages teamwork and fosters a sense of accomplishment.

Final Performance: The program will culminate in a special showcase for friends and family, highlighting the students’ hard work and talent while bringing the magic of these empowering stories to life on stage.

Ignite Introduces Hands-On Theatre Tech Classes: Master the Magic Behind the Scenes
Join us for a delightful musical journey to the Hundred Acre Wood! Perfect for both beginners and more seasoned young performers, this class offers a no-audition setting where everyone can shine, whether in guaranteed ensemble roles or as principal characters. Directed by members of the Ignite Elite Performance Team, students will bring A.A. Milne’s beloved characters to life through song, dance, and storytelling, while building theatre skills, confidence, and teamwork.
The session culminates in a special performance at The Magic House, celebrating our spring partnership with their new theatre exhibit. This is a unique opportunity to create unforgettable memories on stage!
Dress Rehearsal Friday, March 14, and Final Performance Saturday, March 15 at the St. Louis Magic House

Join the Foundations Dance Class: Build Skills, Boost Confidence, and Elevate Your Performance!
Are you ready to take your dance journey to new heights? Our Foundations Dance Class, offered every Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, is designed for dancers at every level, whether you’re a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills.
What You’ll Gain:
- Master Choreography: Through guided instruction and structured routines, you’ll quickly improve your ability to learn and execute choreography with confidence.
- Refine Technique & Terminology: Get familiar with essential dance terminology to enhance your understanding and communication in class, helping you grow in both confidence and precision.
- Supportive Environment: This class provides a welcoming space for dancers to grow, build connections, and ignite their passion for dance in a collaborative, encouraging environment.

- Time: Tuesdays, 4:30-5:30
- Cost: $240 for the full session or $35 per drop-in class
