Girl Power I: Own Your Power

It’s All About that Girl Power, Baby!

Girl Power I – Ignite Your Inner Star Thursdays | 4:00–5:15 PM | September 4 – November 6 Ages 4–10 | 10 Weeks | $190

It’s all about that girl power! This high-energy musical theatre class is perfect for young performers ready to shine. Students will sing, dance, and act their way through scenes and songs from shows like Matilda and Junie B. Jones, all while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Musical Theatre Skills: Basics of acting, singing, and dancing in a fun, age-appropriate way.

  • Empowering Stories: Explore strong characters and scenes that celebrate girl power.

  • Teamwork & Creativity: Work together to create a mini performance.

This class will explore advanced musical theatre material from shows like & Juliet, Mamma Mia, Mean Girls, and more—focusing on female-driven narratives that celebrate confidence, courage, and resilience. In this class, students will enhance their vocal, acting, and performance skills while connecting emotionally to dynamic roles, exploring the depth and complexity of the characters they portray. Whether you relate to fierce rebels, strong leaders, or witty survivors, Girl Power II encourages students to embrace their individuality and showcase their talent through empowering, female-centered musical theatre. Arts4ALL Musical Theatre – Every Voice Center Stage

Thursdays, September 5 – November 28 (No class on October 31)

$200 | Ages 6–18 | 13 weeks

Arts4ALL Musical Theatre is a joyful, inclusive class designed specifically for neurodiverse students and those who benefit from additional support. Through music, movement, and storytelling, students will explore musical theatre in a safe, structured, and affirming environment. This program celebrates every student’s unique voice and strengths, culminating in a low-pressure, confidence-building sharing opportunity for families. Peer buddies from our broader Ignite Theatre community participate weekly to model, encourage, and connect.

Family involvement is welcomed and encouraged, especially during the first weeks of class or as needed throughout the session.

Accommodations and Levels of Support We believe that every child deserves access to the performing arts. In this class, we are able to accommodate a range of support needs, including:

  • Visual schedules and clear,
  • consistent routines
  • Use of AAC devices, fidgets, or sensory supports
  • Flexible participation (students may observe, take breaks, or rejoin as needed)
  • Peer buddy support for modeling and engagement
  • Visual/verbal cues and modified instructions
  • One-on-one paraprofessional or adult assistant (provided by family, if required)
  • Quiet space available for breaks

Families are encouraged to fill out our comprehensive intake form before the session begins to share more about how we can best support their student’s success. 

Foundations 1: Intro to Musical Theatre Dance

Foundations Dance is back this fall and perfect for dancers at any level. Led by Kayla Dressman, this class focuses on mastering choreography, refining technique, and building confidence in a supportive environment.

Foundations II: The Next Step in Musical Theatre Dance

For students who have completed Foundations I or have prior dance experience, Foundations II builds on the fundamentals to strengthen technique, expand vocabulary, and improve conditioning. This class is ideal for performers who want to sharpen their dance skills and grow more confident in their movement on stage.

Whether you’re returning to class or catching up after time away from dance, Foundations II will support your growth in strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Audition Edge – Prepare. Perform

Stand Out. Fridays | 5:00–5:45 PM | Ages 11–18 | October 3 – November 7 | 6 Weeks | $175

Get audition-ready with Audition Edge, a focused, six-week class designed to equip young performers with the tools, techniques, and confidence needed to succeed in the audition room. Whether you’re auditioning for school shows, community theatre, or pre-professional programs, this class will help you sharpen every step of the process—from selecting the right material to making a strong first impression.

Students will learn how to:

  • Choose Appropriate Material: Find and prepare monologues and song cuts that highlight strengths and suit the role or show
  • Prepare with Purpose: Mark cuts clearly, communicate with accompanists, and walk into the room ready to work Slate with
  • Confidence: Practice how to introduce themselves clearly and professionally
  • Break Down Audition Notices: Understand what casting teams are looking for and how to tailor your prep accordingly
  • Handle Cold Reads & Sides: Gain experience with in-the-room adjustments and quick preparation
  • Present with Poise: Build body awareness, manage nerves, and maintain confidence from entrance to exit

The class includes mock auditions with individualized feedback, giving students the chance to put their new skills into action in a low-pressure, supportive environment. By the end of the session, performers will leave with a well-prepared audition package, a clear understanding of the expectations in a professional audition setting, and the confidence to walk into any audition with clarity, preparation, and presence. Ignite Theatre Company – General Class Policy

At Ignite Theatre Company, we strive to provide a high-quality, supportive educational experience for all students. To ensure consistency and fairness, please review the following class policies before enrolling:


Registration & Attendance

  • All students must be registered in advance for the full session of the class.

  • We do not allow drop-in participation for any classes or workshops.

  • Consistent attendance is expected to ensure student growth and group success.


Refund Policy

  • All class tuition is non-refundable.
    Once a student is registered and payment is received, we are unable to offer refunds for any reason, including schedule changes, illness, or other conflicts.


Canceled Classes

  • In the event Ignite Theatre Company must cancel a class due to inclement weather, staff illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to offer a make-up session.

  • If a make-up class cannot be scheduled, families will receive a credit toward future Ignite programming. No monetary refunds will be issued.


Class Expectations

  • Students are expected to arrive on time, dressed appropriately for movement, and ready to participate fully.

  • Respect for instructors, fellow students, and the learning environment is required at all times.

  • Families will be contacted if behavioral or attendance concerns arise.
